Sports are naturally fun for children, and at the Y we are as interested in developing character as we are in developing healthy athletes. We do not conduct tryouts and our coaches stress good sportsmanship and skills development over winning. During the season team members receive equal practice time and will play at least one half of every game. In addition to learning the fundamentals of sports and inclusion in games, your kids will also learn the Y’s four core values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility - winning strategies for in and out of the game!
